FABULOUS FASHIONS AT CLIFFORD PARK FOR MELBOURNE CUP DAY
Fashion will feature heavily at this year’s Melbourne Cup Day celebrations at Clifford Park.
Ladies and gents from across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs will “dress up to the nines” next Tuesday for the annual Grand Central Fashions On The Field.
Competition will be fierce, as always, with ladies and men’s racewear categories, together with best headwear.
This year’s Clifford Park Face of Weetwood, Brooke Marjoribanks, will feature as judge of the event, ably assisted by Rebecca Hansen from Brown Brothers winery and celebrity judges, lifeguards Reidy and Whippet from TV’s Bondi Rescue.
Fashions on the Field prizing:
• Ladies’ racewear winner: $1,000 Grand Central voucher, Blooming Gorgeous bouquet, $100 MarjoriBanks Millinery voucher, $100 Cioccolato voucher, Brown Browns wine hamper
• Ladies’ racewear runner up: $500 Grand Central voucher, Blooming Gorgeous bouquet, $100 Polly & Peaches voucher, $50 Cioccolato voucher
• Mens racewear winner: $250 Grand Central voucher, XXXX Brewery Tour (with lunch), XXXX Esky
• Best headwear winner: $250 Grand Central voucher, Blooming Gorgeous bouquet, $25 Cioccolato voucher, Brown Brothers wine hamper
Race lovers will be able check out live racing at Clifford Park Tuesday, with five local races on the card, together with all the action from Flemington on the Clifford Park big screen.
