The response to COVID-19 has impacted our whole country, including the racing industry. We are sure you would have been following many of these developments.

Racing Queensland last week issued a statement advising that all race meetings, trials and track-work across the state would be conducted without patrons until further notice. The TTC has adhered to these directions.

The spread of this virus is absolutely unprecedented and the TTC does not know how long the above situation will be in place.

I would like to assure our valued TTC Members that the Clifford Park team has been working tirelessly to ensure the club is prepared for various scenarios in the near future.

The club is working closely with Racing Queensland, QRIC and industry stakeholders about the best ways to continue to race going forward, and we will also keep everyone informed as much as possible.

The TTC is grateful that, for now, racing can continue, while other sports (like the AFL & NRL), have been forced to suspend their competitions.

There is no doubt that this is a challenging time and the TTC is extremely grateful of the support of our Members, sponsors and industry stakeholders. We encourage you to keep an eye out for future Clifford Park meetings on Sky1 and use your TAB betting account to support the industry.

Your support and understanding means so much to the club right now.
