Clifford Park is home to one of Queensland’s largest and most comprehensive thoroughbred training facilities, offering trainers a versatile, high-quality environment designed to support horse development at every stage.
Located in the heart of Toowoomba, the Clifford Park Training Centre provides a rare combination of multiple training surfaces, purpose-built infrastructure, and secure, convenient access, making it an ideal base for both established and emerging trainers.

The Training Centre is fully equipped to support day-to-day stable operations, providing practical infrastructure for trainers and staff.

On-Course Stabling
The Clifford Park Training Centre provides extensive on-course stabling, conveniently located within the Wyalla Street precinct and designed to support day-to-day training operations.
The Centre has seven separate barns on course. Five of the barns consists of 20 stables, and the other two newer barns constructed in 2017, consist of 21 stables each.Â
- Tack rooms and feed rooms in every barn
- Direct access to training tracks and course facilities
- Exclusive access to on-course horse walkers available for use seven days a week

Clifford Park has been designed with trainer convenience and security in mind:
- Large licence and horse float car park with easy access
- Centralised location with direct road access
- 24-hour CCTV surveillance across the training precinct, providing peace of mind for trainers and staff

Jumpouts & Barrier Trials
Clifford Park conducts official trials and jumpouts in line with Racing Queensland requirements.
