Racing at Clifford Park
Clifford Park hosts regular race meetings throughout the year, with race days typically held on Saturdays and often run as twilight meetings.
The course also stages several feature race days, including King of the Mountain on the Toowoomba Show Holiday, the Weetwood Handicap during the spring carnival, and a featured Melbourne Cup Race Day.
Barrier trials, jump-outs and other racing-related activities are conducted regularly during the week as part of the Training Centre program.
Jump-outs are an important part of the training and preparation process at Clifford Park, helping horses build fitness and gain race-like experience before competing.
The Clifford Park Training Centre conducts jump-outs three out of every four weeks, with official barrier trials held in the remaining week. Jump-out schedules, results and available vision are published through Racing Queensland and outlined on the Jump-Outs page.

The Clifford Park Training Centre operates early mornings on most weekdays and race days, with access varying by track surface, race programming and maintenance requirements.
Synthetic and sand tracks are generally available throughout the week, while use of the grass track is managed on a nomination basis and subject to conditions on the day. Supporting facilities, including the swimming pool, operate alongside track work hours.

Owners with a runner at a Clifford Park meeting receive a range of race day privileges, including complimentary admission, access to designated owner areas, and post-race facilities.

The Clifford Park track is a left-handed turf circuit with a generous circumference and wide, sweeping turns, allowing horses to maintain rhythm and balance throughout the race.
