FOOD & BEVERAGE
Clifford Park is seeking experienced Bartenders, Function Staff, Restaurant Attendants and Supervisors to join our hospitality team. These roles are well suited to individuals looking for casual or part-time work, particularly those available on Saturdays and during feature race days.
Enjoy a vibrant working environment with a variety of venues across the racecourse, including bars, restaurants, corporate suites and event spaces.
We’re looking for reliable team members who take pride in their presentation, value great customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused setting. Working at Clifford Park means being part of a fun, energetic environment shaped by live racing, events and a supportive team culture. With over a dozen bars, multiple dining venues, corporate suites and racing every Saturday, no two shifts are ever the same.

Kitchen Staff
Clifford Park is seeking eager and reliable team members to join our Kitchen Team, supporting race days, events and hospitality operations across the racecourse. These roles suit individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic and enjoy being part of a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Kitchen Stewards: Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across all kitchens, preparation areas and workspaces
- Clear and clean kitchen and storage areas throughout service
- Clean and maintain deep fryers, including oil handling and storage
- Deep clean ovens and kitchen equipment
- Assist with stock control, including putting away deliveries and stores
- Maintain and rotate cleaning chemicals in line with safety requirements
- Move food trolleys between venues and service areas as required
Cooks – Skills & Experience
- Experience in food preparation and service support
- Preparing and presenting servery areas and light food items, including sandwiches
- Sound understanding of WHS, Food Safety and HACCP requirements
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
- Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or equivalent experience, highly regarded but not essential

Track & Facilities Staff
The Track Work & Facilities team plays a vital role in the day-to-day operation and presentation of Clifford Park Racecourse. This team is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and continual improvement of the track, training surfaces, facilities and surrounding grounds, helping ensure a safe, professional and welcoming environment for race days, track work and events.
These roles are well suited to individuals who enjoy hands-on, physical work, take pride in their surroundings and like working outdoors as part of a close-knit team. From early mornings on track work days to preparing the course for race meetings, no two days are the same.
Casual Track & Grounds Maintenance Attendants: Responsibilities
- Assist with general grounds maintenance, including irrigation repairs, fencing, facility repairs and racecourse upkeep
- Repair course surfaces following gallops and race meetings, including divot replacement, patching, raking and re-turfing of training tracks
- Move and maintain running rails for race meetings and assist with repairs to track rails
- Support race day and track work operations to ensure safety, presentation and compliance
- Undertake external cleaning of facilities, including washing or wiping amenities and windows, cleaning hard surfaces and managing waste removal

CP Tote Operators
Clifford Park is seeking friendly, reliable Tote Operators to deliver professional wagering services across our bars and betting areas on race days. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with patrons, working in a lively race day atmosphere and being part of a supportive team environment.
Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to tote operations or looking to build experience within the racing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect floats and complete balance checks at the start of shifts
- Accurately handle cash and maintain correct balances throughout service
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to patrons using tote facilities
- Report customer or technical issues promptly to supervisors
- Order cash from the Tote Banker as required during shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tote terminals at all times
- Follow all operational processes and procedures, including completing documentation for withdrawals and lost tickets
- Complete end-of-shift reconciliation, including balancing and returning floats with all required paperwork
