UBET backs Toowoomba Summer Calendar
The 2016/17 Toowoomba Summer Racing calendar has been boosted by the announcement of a partnership between the Toowoomba Turf Club and UBET.
The Clifford Park UBET Summer Racing calendar will run from December 3, 2016 and February 25, 2017, headlined by the blockbuster New Year’s Eve meeting.
UBET’s Chief Operating Officer Brendan Parnell said the sponsorship was a shot in the arm for the club’s summer program and was further evidence of UBET’s commitment to support racing across Queensland.
“Clifford Park plays host to some outstanding race meetings during the year, particularly during the busy summer period,” Mr Parnell said.
“It is fair to say the New Year’s Eve meeting has become a highlight on the local racing calendar and we are pleased to be able to support the club on the summer initiative.
“We look forward to some great racing at Clifford Park over the coming months and wish all participants a safe and successful summer.”
Toowoomba Turf Club Chief Executive Officer Blair Odgers said he was delighted to have the Queensland racing industry’s premier wagering partner join with the TTC for the club’s peak seasonal racing calendar.
“The partnership will prove mutually beneficial for the TTC, patrons and those in the industry to have the opportunity to interact with and receive bonuses from UBET by attending Clifford Park during our peak Summer period,” Mr Odgers said.
An added attraction for the season will be the UBET Dash For Cash, where Clifford Park attendees go into the draw to compete in a fun obstacle course to win UBET account top-ups.
UBET Dash For Cash dates: Saturday, December 31, 2016; Sunday January 29, 2017; and Saturday February 25, 2017. Final also on Saturday, February 25, 2017.
