LEE KERNAGHAN LIVE AT CLIFFORD PARK FOR NYE

THE original Boy From The Bush, Lee Kernaghan, will this year rock Toowoomba’s largest New Year celebration at Clifford Park Racecourse.

The legendary Australian country hit-maker says he’s excited that he’ll be in Toowoomba to see in the New Year for 2017.

Toowoomba Turf Club Chief Executive Officer Blair Odgers said it will be an honour to host Kernaghan at Clifford Park.

“Lee Kernaghan attracts a crowd, there’s no doubt about that, and we’ll be ready! What an opportunity to enjoy New Year’s Eve with family and friends rocking to an Aussie country music legend.

“We are hoping that people from right across the region – including the West – make the trip to Clifford Park for what’s going to be a brilliant night of New Year’s Eve entertainment,” Mr Odgers said.

Kernaghan, who is currently taking a short break after a long-running tour with his “The Songs & The Stories In Concert” show, took time to record a short video announcing his return to the Garden City.

Rob and Annabelle Raff, of Raff Group Clifton, Pittsworth and Millmerran, are thrilled to be the naming right sponsor of the show. The Raffs are celebrating 20 years of business across the region.

Pre-sale tickets for the show are priced at $30 and will be available for purchase soon from www.cliffordpark.com.au or for $50 at the gate on New Year’s Eve.

Dining packages are available on the night, including the Members’ dining JJ Atkins Terrace ($**) and the Colts & Fillies Party Package ($99 inclusive of a food and beverage package). Private party spaces are also available.

Live racing on the night will include the annual NYE Plate thanks to Toowoomba Regional Council, coupled with six other live local races.
